Macheeste Malloy is a Singer/Songwriter from the Hudson Valley area in NY. He began singing at the age of six and directing/leading worship by age 14. In his church choir and many local and statewide events is where he began honing his vocal abilities and developing a love for creating melodies and writing.
Macheeste later moved to the Baltimore, MD area continuing to use his gifts in his local church and began working with many local artists, choirs and musicians. He became a singer/songwriter in a local group “Reformation” who traveled and opened events for artists such as Marvin Sapp and The Williams Brothers. And was featured on TBN. Several years later he was asked to be a background vocalist for Kevin LeVar & One Sound. Macheeste performed studio background vocals for the groups debut CD “Let’s Come Together” and also toured with the group throughout the country. Gaining experience on stages like Bobby Jones Gospel, The Potter’s House and many others was a major opportunity, while still writing and arranging original music as he was inspired.
In 2013 Macheeste released his debut CD “Redemption” and began ministering solo all over the DMV area. He was awarded the “Contemporary Gospel Male” award at the 2013 DMV awards. The CD features 12 songs written and vocally arranged and sang by Macheeste. The songs feature his smooth Tenor voice and showcase a variety of styles with creative and soothing harmonies. His heart, love for God and people is clearly heard and felt throughout each song. Meaningful lyrics and song structure is something he has developed through the years and is always excited to share and help others experience what God has given him.
Macheeste now lives in the PA area and continues to serve in worship and writing and arranging, for himself and other Gospel, R&B and Inspirational artists.
