Music has always been a part of my life as I’ve helped in church as assistant choir directors at my home church for several years growing up and currently on the Praise Team and director of the Youth Choir at my current church. I’m married to gospel artist Min Jabari Wade and have 3 beautiful children. God gave me the gift of writing poetry and songs since I was a child. My first song I’ve written that was recorded for an artist “Without Love” in 2015. It is my prayer and desire to continue to write words with power to inspire others. My songs include inspirational, contemporary gospel, and positive love R&B.
Chicago native, born to express ….born creative, music has always surrounded my life. Over the years the ability to hear has developed and the lyrics and melody come to me in night visions. I hear the arrangements in completed form. What began as a hobby, began to unveil as a hidden gift.
I have been connected to the world of performing arts in many forms including dance, drama, poetry, and fashion for most of my life. As a creative, I enjoy the process of bringing a song from embryonic stage to maturity. It is utter euphoria.
My artistic genome has familial roots in its connection to the historic acting career of my grandmother Lynn Hamilton, who I met along with my entire family including my mother Sharon in 2018. I don’t find it a coincidence that puzzle pieces are woven into the design of Dulaneyland as music and melody are pieces connecting us to that which is whole…a work of art.
Meet songwriter Lisa Mealing, a native of Lexington KY, who now resides in Atlanta GA. Lisa’s had a passion for music every since she was a little girl. I am a singer/songwriter with over 20 years of songwriting experience. Since the age of 8 years old I have written, recorded, and produced hundreds of gospel songs including the release of several gospel albums. I love to write songs about Jesus and a Christian’s life in Him. The Word of God is my main source of inspiration. Colossians 3:16 shows us the importance of having the Word of Christ dwell in us richly so we can teach and admonish others in wisdom through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. I have learned that the greatest purpose of a gospel song is to instill faith, hope, love, and sound doctrine of the Word of God into the hearts of all who hear it.
Herb Milton is certainly no stranger when it comes to music. Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Herb was atypical in the sense he did not grow up singing in the church. His musical journey began at the age of 7 when he began to play piano by ear and then take formal lessons by the age of 10. Though Herb was a very skilled pianist and felt more comfortable playing in front of crowds than singing, consistently “singing while scared” helped him gradually overcome stage fright.
He currently resides in Fort Worth, TX where he leads worship throughout the metroplex. He completed his first solo project in January 2019 entitled “Look Up” where his focus is to connect people’s truth to God’s sovereignty through the matters of the heart. Let him write a song for you!

As a student of songwriting, I draw influences from the likes of Fred Hammond to James Taylor, Stevie Wonder to the Beatles, and PJ Morton to Benji & Pasek. Let’s work together!
